Hold My Eyebrows, Babe… I’m About To…

There are moments in life when everything in you knows you’re about to make a questionable decision.

Not illegal. Not immoral.

Just… deeply, unapologetically unhinged.

This is one of those moments.

“Hold my eyebrows, babe… I’m about to….”

Because let’s be honest—nothing chaotic has ever started with someone putting on their eyebrows calmly. Eyebrows are war paint. Eyebrows are intention. Eyebrows say, I’m about to enter a situation I may or may not emotionally survive.

And tonight? Oh, tonight we’re going in.

It starts harmlessly.

You’re sitting there, bare-faced, hair in a messy bun that wasn’t supposed to be cute but somehow is. You tell yourself, I’m just going to stay in tonight. Maybe drink some water . Be responsible. Heal. Grow.

Then your phone lights up.

One text.

One name.

One bad idea wrapped in a good memory.

And suddenly… you’re reaching for the makeup bag.

“Hold my eyebrows, babe.”

Because once those are on, there’s no turning back.

You’re not just getting ready—you’re preparing for impact.

You start narrating your own decisions like you’re outside your body:

  • We’re really doing this?

  • Didn’t we learn last time?

  • Is personal growth in the room with us?

But your hands are steady. Too steady.

That’s how you know you’re in trouble.

There’s something powerful about that exact moment—when logic taps out and confidence clocks in.

You don’t know how the night will end.

Maybe it’s a mistake.

Maybe it’s closure.

Maybe it’s another chapter in a story you swore you were done writing.

But right now?

You look in the mirror, eyebrows perfectly in place, and think:

I might regret this… but I’m going to look incredible while doing it.

And that’s the thing no one talks about.

Sometimes growth isn’t linear.

Sometimes healing looks like staying home, journaling, drinking tea.

And sometimes?

It looks like texting back, putting on your best face, and walking straight into a situation you know better than.

Not because you’re weak.

But because you’re human.

So here’s to the girls who:

  • Know better… and still go

  • Laugh at their own bad decisions

  • Feel everything deeply but keep showing up anyway

  • And never, ever underestimate the power of a good eyebrow

Because life isn’t just about getting it right.

It’s about living it fully—even in the messy, ridiculous, “hold my eyebrows” moments.

So go ahead.

Put them on.

Take a deep breath.

And if you’re going to do something questionable…

At least do it with great eyebrows.
